Collection: Plats, assiettes japonaise

Japanese platter, large plate, deep plate or square plate: this collection brings together our Japanese plates and serving dishes, made in Japan in the Mino region around Toki and Tajimi (Gifu Prefecture) or in Hasami (Nagasaki Prefecture), in porcelain and ceramic.

Deep plates suit curries, pasta or dishes with sauce; flat and square plates are for everyday meals; rectangular dishes and large plates for sushi, fish or sharing. Many are sold in sets of 2 to 5.

The decorations draw on classic Japanese motifs: koi carp, cherry and plum blossoms, tako karakusa, seigaiha waves, tokusa stripes or whales. Other pieces play on the glaze: celadon, drips, spirals or deep midnight blue.

Porcelain is dishwasher and microwave safe; ceramic is best washed by hand and can go in the microwave. Find the full range in the plates, dishes and small bowls collection.
