Collection: Ramen Bowls

A Japanese ramen bowl has to be big enough for the broth, the noodles and the toppings. Our ramen bowls measure about 15 to 23 cm in diameter: enough for ramen, udon or soba in broth, a large soup or a poke bowl.

Ramen bowls in porcelain or ceramic, a large noodle bowl on its own or a set of ramen bowls for two or five: they are made in Japan, in the Mino region around Toki and Tajimi (Gifu Prefecture), or in Hasami (Nagasaki Prefecture).

Their decorations range from traditional blue and white to rawer glazes: asanoha stars, seigaiha waves, ajiro inspired by bamboo weaving, diamonds, lotus, whales, cats or maneki neko. Others rely on a crackled, black, green or beige glaze, or a simple brushstroke. Some sets come with matching spoons.

Porcelain bowls are dishwasher and microwave safe. Ceramic bowls are best washed by hand and can go in the microwave. Find all our bowls in the bowls and salad bowls collection.
