Japanese Maneki Neko Bowls with Spoons – Set of 2

Two bowls covered in little lucky cats, one in blue, the other in pink.

Dozens of little cats, faces and raised paws, cover the inside of the bowls, with a large cat in the centre. The first bowl is decorated in blue, the second in pink.

These cats are maneki neko, the “beckoning cats”: in Japan, this cat with a raised paw is a lucky charm said to attract good fortune and prosperity. It is often seen at the entrance of shops and restaurants.

At 19.8 cm in diameter and 7.6 cm high, these bowls suit ramen, soups, noodles or salads. Two black spoons complete the set.
