Description

Amber basket: an amber and honey glaze, darker in the relief.
Green basket: a sea green and deep blue glaze that pools in the relief; its shades vary from one piece to another.
They recreate in ceramic the traditional Japanese baskets made of bamboo. The glaze that gathers in the hollows beautifully highlights the weave.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
