Description
Two large bowls with a plum brown glaze.
Their deep plum brown is speckled with small light flecks, like a starry night or splashes of ink. The tobashi decoration, literally "splashed", is obtained by spattering the glaze with a flick of the brush: each bowl is therefore different.
Their slightly irregular rim softens the silhouette. At 15 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm high, these are tall bowls for soups, noodles or a large bowl of rice.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
For rice, soups, noodles or salads. Made in Japan.
