It is lined with raised horizontal ribs. The glaze pools in the grooves and reveals the relief through its shades.

Blue: a deep indigo blue, which sets off light and colourful food.

Brown: a warm amber brown, for a lively texture.

It comes from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.

For serving sushi, maki, skewers or tempura. Made in Japan.
