Description
Two large white ramen bowls with blue tokusa lines.
White porcelain decorated with vertical blue lines drawn with a brush. The tokusa pattern is inspired by the straight stems of horsetail, and the dami style refers to this brush filling, with a slightly irregular finish.
Their conical shape, wide at the top, leaves room for noodles, broth and toppings. At 19 cm in diameter and 9.3 cm high, these are true ramen bowls.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
