Description
Two large ramen bowls in a finely speckled cream white.
Shiro means "white"; the name evokes the light slip used to coat the piece, hence its soft, slightly textured finish.
Their conical shape, wide at the top, leaves room for noodles, broth and toppings. At 19 cm in diameter and 9.3 cm high, these are true ramen bowls.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
