Description
Two large ramen bowls in a speckled deep green.
Their deep green glaze is speckled with brown, in woodland tones. Its name evokes shinryoku, the bright green of young leaves at the start of summer, a colour much loved in Japan.
Their conical shape, wide at the top, leaves room for noodles, broth and toppings. At 19 cm in diameter and 9.3 cm high, these are true ramen bowls.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
For ramen, udon or soba. Made in Japan.
