Kyoto Matcha

Matcha tea refers to the tea powder obtained by grinding the leaves between two stone millstones. This tea is mainly used during tea ceremonies, but it is also very popular at other times of the day, alone or accompanied by a delicious pastry! It is also used as a natural coloring or flavoring with foods such as mochi, soba , green tea ice cream and a variety of wagashi (typical Japanese pastries).
