A large, tall, straight mug in five designs.

Blue clovers: small four-petalled blue flowers shaped like clovers, arranged in staggered rows on a white background. A regular, almost textile pattern with a fresh, graphic look.

Blue sea urchins: a dense pattern of small radiating blue circles, reminiscent of sea urchins resting on the seabed. The classic colours of Japanese tableware in an original design.

Blue clouds: a fine blue pattern of small scrolls curling like clouds. In Japan, stylised clouds are an ancient motif, associated with the sky and good fortune.

Black and red flowers: a dense scattering of black flowers highlighted with touches of red and white on a light background. A warm floral design in the spirit of Japanese textile patterns.

Blue daisies: a dense scattering of small white and blue daisies on a blue background, fine and regular, with a fresh and delicate look.

They all have the same shape: 13 cm tall, a base left in brown clay and a large straight handle, for a look that is both rustic and elegant.

The mug is shaped in a mould, then finished by hand; the decoration is applied with transfer paper. The joins in the pattern may therefore vary slightly from one mug to another.

It comes from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
