Bols à riz japonais Yugen Lab en céramique de Mino, émaux ardoise, ivoire, brun et vert sombre
Description

Four rice bowls, four earth-toned glazes: a set in the spirit of Mino ceramics.

Each bowl has its own palette: slate blue and sand, ivory white crossed by a fine line, brown and beige in horizontal bands, dark green that is almost black. Together they form a harmony of natural colours.

The glazes run in places and let the clay show at the foot. The slightly irregular shapes keep the marks of the wheel. These natural variations evoke the spirit of wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, simplicity and natural materials.

Mino is one of Japan’s great ceramic regions, in Gifu Prefecture, and Mino ware (Mino-yaki) has been produced there for centuries.

At 12.5 cm in diameter and 8 cm high, these bowls suit rice, miso soup, side dishes or a dessert.
