Description
A green plate that seems to hold a little water.
Its deep, translucent green glaze is marked in the centre with a spiral pattern. Seen from above, the pooled glaze makes the plate look as if it holds water: an effect that brings a natural touch to the table. Small light dots punctuate the surface.
Its lines are clean and its edges slightly raised. At 26.8 cm long and 11.6 cm wide, it holds a row of sushi or a few tempura.
It comes from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
For sushi, sashimi, tempura or desserts. Made in Japan.
