Description
Five pairs of wooden chopsticks, each decorated with a traditional Japanese pattern in blue and white.
The top of each pair carries a different pattern, in indigo blue on a white background, while the tip stays natural wood, finely ridged for a better grip on food.
Classic patterns appear: seigaiha, waves in overlapping fans associated with calm and good fortune that renews itself; asanoha, the six-pointed star inspired by the hemp leaf, a symbol of growth; or yagasuri, which depicts arrow feathers.
Two assortments are available: “waves” and “flowers”. The label bears the word omotenashi, the Japanese art of hospitality, which means welcoming guests with care and attention to detail.
Each guest recognises their chopsticks by their pattern: a set designed for entertaining, and a lovely gift idea.
