Description
Two salad bowls where Japanese patterns come together like a patchwork.
Inside, several traditional indigo blue patterns sit side by side: waves, diamonds, flowers and geometric motifs. The more sober outside features a few blue scrolls, and the rim is scalloped.
This interplay of patterns gives the table plenty of character. At 20.5 cm in diameter, they hold a salad, noodles or a dish to share.
They come from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
For salads, noodles or sharing dishes. Made in Japan.
