Large Japanese Blue Rain bowl

A large deep blue bowl, where a rain of fine streaks falls.

Inside, the deep blue is crossed by fine streaks that radiate like falling rain, around a light, speckled centre. The white outside echoes the decoration with broad touches of blue.

Between traditional gesture and contemporary aesthetics, it adds character to the table. At 19 cm in diameter and 8 cm high, it holds a bowl of ramen, udon or a large salad.

It comes from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.

For ramen, udon, donburi or a large salad. It goes with the plate from the same range. Made in Japan.
