Description
A translucent glaze that recalls water, with a more intense heart and an irregular dark rim.
The surface is crossed by gentle ripples, like marks left in the clay. The luminous, slightly grainy glaze gathers in the centre into a darker circle, then lightens towards the outside before meeting a dark, irregular rim.
Its glaze is inspired by celadon, a glaze with green-blue reflections born in China and much appreciated in Japan, where it has adorned tableware for centuries. It gives the ceramic a luminous, almost translucent look.
Three colours are available: turquoise, green or midnight blue. Each keeps the same play of depth between the richer centre and the dark rim.
At 27 cm in diameter and with a slightly curved shape, this large plate shows off a main course, an assortment of sushi or a starter to share.
