Asanoha, literally “hemp leaf”, is a traditional Japanese pattern made of interlocking six-pointed stars. As hemp grows straight and fast, the pattern is associated with growth and good health; it was once found on children’s clothing.

The base is left as raw clay and the straight handle is highlighted in bluish grey. At 13 cm high and 400 ml, this mug suits large teas, coffees or hot chocolates.
