Description
Two large bowls striped with blue, inside and out.
The decoration is made of short vertical ultramarine strokes, lined up in tight rows on a white background. It covers the inside and the outside, and stops at a fine brown rim. The foot stays white.
These stripes echo the tokusa pattern, horsetail, whose straight, segmented stems are a classic of Japanese tableware.
The bowls are deep and flared, on a small foot. At 19.5 cm in diameter and 9.4 cm high, they are designed for dishes served in broth.
The strokes vary slightly from one bowl to another.
For ramen, udon, a soup, a donburi or a salad. Made in Japan.
