Description
A large bowl with a graphic rhythm, striped with blue from top to bottom.
The fine indigo lines, made of short, tight strokes, cover the whole bowl, inside and out. From a distance they form a regular, almost textile weave. A black rim edges the top and a blue line marks the white foot.
The tokusa pattern is inspired by the segmented stems of horsetail, a plant emblematic of Japanese gardens. Its regular design gives the bowl a very modern look.
The shape is wide and flared, on a small foot. At 18.5 cm in diameter and 7.8 cm high, it is a real meal bowl.
It goes with the teacups, small bowl and salad bowl of the same decoration.
For ramen, udon, a donburi or a salad. Made in Japan.
