Description
A wide, shallow bowl with a cream heart framed by a speckled green glaze.
The centre, a soft creamy white, shows fine circular marks that bring the surface to life. Towards the rim, the glaze becomes speckled with green, grey and blue, like moss on stone.
A brown line highlights the slightly wavy edge. The outside repeats the speckling across the whole surface, which gives the bowl a lovely unity.
At 16.5 cm wide and only 4 cm high, it sits between a bowl and a deep plate: ideal for small dishes to share, vegetables, cold noodles or a dessert.
These natural variations evoke the spirit of wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, simplicity and natural materials.
