Description
A tall, round bowl, in two brushed decorations.
Black with white marks: a deep black glaze with a raw look, decorated with wide white marks and touches of green. Under your fingers, you can feel the texture of the clay. The contrast between black and white gives the bowl a strong, contemporary look.
White with blue circles: a white bowl circled with wide dark blue lines drawn while the wheel turns, giving it a lovely striped look. Inside, a fine blue line edges the rim.
At 12.3 cm in diameter and 8 cm high, it is taller than it is wide, and holds liquids well.
It comes from the Toki-Tajimi region, Gifu Prefecture, home of Mino ceramics.
For rice, miso soup, noodles, cereal or hot drinks. Made in Japan.
