Description
A blue and white rice bowl, with a choice of four graphic patterns.
Thick vertical lines, chevron arrows, crosshatched stars or fine horizontal lines: each pattern is drawn in blue on a slightly greyish white background, inside and out.
These decorations draw on classic Japanese patterns. The vertical lines recall tokusa, inspired by the straight stems of horsetail, and the arrows evoke yagasuri, which depicts arrow feathers.
The unglazed foot is the colour of the clay. At 14.5 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm high, this bowl suits rice, miso soup, cereal or desserts.
Choose one pattern, or bring all four together for a varied yet harmonious set.
