Japanese Midnight Blue Bowl, Rim with Light Drips

A glossy midnight blue bowl, its rim adorned with light blue drips.

The almost black blue glaze shines over the whole bowl. Towards the rim, it fills with light blue and white drips that run down inside, like sea foam.

A brown line outlines the edge, and fine horizontal ridges mark the exterior. The drips vary from one piece to another.

At 18 cm in diameter and 7.2 cm high, it suits ramen, noodles, soups or salads.

Its dark colour shows off a clear broth or colourful vegetables, for a table with strong contrasts.
